From the outside, Shalimar is a fabulous, traditional Victorian house in a wonderful setting. From the inside, we have extensively refurbished it for real comfort and modern day living while retaining its original features and character. Shalimar has been furnished to a very high standard and can accommodate 8 guests more than comfortably. There are 2 wood-burning stoves and central heating. The large kitchen/diner is fully equipped to ensure you have a fantastic self-catering holiday. The sunroom is a lovely light room with double doors opening onto the patio, which has stunning views of the woods and is a real sun trap. Perfect for al fresco dining and BBQs! The living rooms have Sky TV with FreeSat channels & DVD. There is a Wii and a selection of books, DVDs & family games for you to enjoy. The bedrooms all have comfortable divan beds with pocket sprung mattresses and padded headboards. The family bathroom has a walk-in shower and extra large bath for a really comfortable soak after a busy day's activities! There are 2 further shower rooms.
