Balvenie Cottage is a 5 minute walk from the village where there is easy access to shops, restaurants and public transport. Braemar Golf course is a 5 minute drive from the cottage. Braemar is a haven for the outdoor enthusiast with many walks within the village or just a short drive away. It is home to the famous Braemar Gathering held on the first Saturday of September and attended by the Queen.
