Coylumbridge is situated in what is arguably one of the most beautiful places in the country. Rothiemurchus Forest is a remnant of the Caledonian Forest near Aviemore. The Woodshed Bar is a great après ski bar with a relaxed atmosphere and a real log fire. The kitchen serves superb nachos. The Ord Ban, formerly the senior classroom of the old school house, with its high pitched ceiling, pine floors and wood burning stove in Rothiemurchus, is great for lunch or an evening meal. Located across the parking area is a great Chinese restaurant called the Tea Garden. Just down the road, below the Spey Bridge, is the Old Bridge Inn that offers all day food in a cosy country pub environment.
